Rachel Long

Rachel’s work is informed by the relationship to the vastness of creation envisioned through a Hebraic lens — striving to illuminate the invisible realm and radiating experiences onto large canvases.  Her formative years were spent outdoors on the family farm and ranch in Texas, which shaped her core values and sharp attention to detail.  She underwent fifteen years of specialized art lessons and progressed to the University of Texas at San Antonio to complete a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts.  Her passion lies in oil painting, but her love for a challenge has led to the adoption of many other mediums.  “We must work with our gifts,” she has said. “So that the light of our generations does not diminish.”
