Roxi Hardegree

Roxi Hardegree is a full-time artist based in Lubbock Texas. She grew up on a farm in North Dakota where the outdoors birthed a sense of exploration and adventure. Days were spent fishing, making crafty things, and planting or picking flowers from the garden. Her mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother had luscious flower beds filled with peonies, roses, delphinium, and seas of iris and lilies. These women were the biggest creative influences in her life. Roxi has made both traditional and art quilts, wrote books, and taught quilting classes. She has also had a lifelong passion for photography which has brought her many sales and awards. She has come full circle and is back to crafting with her hands creating botanical prints with cyanotype and collage including eco prints and mixed media.

Roxi has exhibited her art at the Lubbock Studio Tour, Broadway Contemporary Fine Art Gallery, The Garden & Art Center, Glassy Alley, Lubbock Arts Festival, Buddy Holly Center, and Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts.
