The sunflower petals are made from plow discs and spin on their stalks.The flower centers are made from vintage railroad lantern signal glass lens and were from the Slaton Harvey House.  
The remaining parts were from found objects and cut metal and then shaped and welded. To finish out the piece, there are two bees on top of metal honeycomb on the base of the sculpture.
